Audio Engineer Intern

Location: Atlanta, GA | Internship (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Bravo Ocean Studios is Atlanta’s premier hybrid recording studio, where music, podcasts, and film audio come to life. From tracking major-label artists to ADR sessions for film and podcast production, we’re at the intersection of creativity and technology. We’re looking for motivated and detail-oriented Audio Engineer Interns who want hands-on experience in a professional studio environment.

About the Role:

As an Audio Engineer Intern, you’ll shadow our engineers, assist with session prep, and learn what it takes to operate in a world-class studio. You’ll be exposed to real sessions with clients in music, podcasting, and film. This internship is designed for individuals who want to sharpen their technical skills, gain professional studio experience, and learn the business side of audio production.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up and breaking down recording sessions (mics, patching, cabling, etc.)

  • Shadow engineers during music, podcast, and ADR sessions

  • Maintain studio cleanliness and readiness for clients

  • Learn the workflow of Pro Tools and other DAWs in a professional environment

  • Help manage equipment and troubleshoot basic studio issues

  • Support the team with documentation, recall sheets, and file organization

What We’re Looking For:

  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a collaborative team setting

  • Passion for audio, music, or film production

  • Foundational understanding of studio hardware: audio interfaces, mixing consoles, microphones, and signal routing

  • Basic knowledge of DAWs (Pro Tools preferred)

  • Strong communication and people skills

  • Bonus: prior experience recording or mixing projects (school, personal, or professional)

Details:

  • Internship position (unpaid or for school credit, with potential growth opportunities).

  • Flexible schedule, approx. 10–15 hours per week.
