Our mission

Bravo Ocean is a space for creativity without compromise. Through world-class technology, intentional design, and creator-first hospitality, we exist to empower The Brave. In partnership with authentic, tenacious artists and teams, our mission is to help visionary clients reach their full potential without limits or barriers.

About Bravo Ocean Studios

Bravo Ocean Studios was launched in 2014 by Grammy nominated record producer and entrepreneur Nick Chahwala and designer and former recording artist Ulrika Lindström Chahwala. As a next-generation, hybrid studio, we provide recording and post audio services for music and film creatives alike–the only studio to do so in Atlanta. Our state-of-the-art recording equipment, world-class staff, and beautifully designed spaces foster an environment that allows artists to reach their full potential without limits or barriers.

Bravo Ocean is more than a recording studio–our space is intentionally designed to cultivate creative energy. We stand out among our peers by emphasizing both acoustical accuracy and visual design, features appreciated by the new wave of content creators and entertainers. Recent clients include Post Malone, John Legend, Lil Nas X, Russo Brothers, Marvel, Netflix, Legendary, Rosalía, Will Ferrell and Zoe Saldaña.

About the Owners

Nick Chahwala is a Grammy nominated record producer, cinematographer, and entrepreneur whose nearly 20-year career includes projects with Mariah Carey, Katy Perry, and the Russo Brothers. In addition to co-founding Bravo Ocean Studios, he has worked for several recording studios, video production companies, and brand agencies, through which he cultivated a love of storytelling via music and media. Nick’s career started as a studio intern and then assistant engineer for legendary artists like Elton John and Whitney Houston. When not hanging with his two daughters and wife, Nick spends a lot of time thinking about new creative and business paradigms for the music and film industries.

Ulrika Lindström Chahwala is a Swedish-born designer and musician who brings her Nordic aesthetic to all of her endeavors. She spent much of her early career designing homes and businesses in Stockholm, Sweden, and later moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passions as a singer and songwriter. Before co-founding Bravo Ocean Studios, she was a recording artist with an imprint of Epic Records. After working in numerous music studios across the United States, Ulrika recognized the need to bring spatial awareness and interior design to improve artists’ recording and production experience.

Bravo Ocean Studios brings Ulrika and Nick’s experiences and passions together in the form of an unparalleled, next-generation studio committed to creativity without compromise.
